Stranagone Frankie is a son of Sang D'Or, a tremendous muscular bull with size, length and thickness. His was selected particularly for this cow as she is a very big growing cow with loads of class and style, and it was thought that along with Sang D'Or's muscle and shape that it produce a great calf, and so it did.

Frankie's mother Stranagone Aoife is a daughter of Rounshill Taurus. She one of two full sisters to be retained at Stranagone out of Panmure Rena. Rena was purchased at Perth Pedigee sales in October 2003, she was a very sweet stylish cow.
Frankie himself was a fine looking bull, he had one of the best appetites that has been seen here at stranagone. At 220 days of age he weighed 604kgs. He was showing at Fintona National charolais show 2010 and was 3rd in a very tight class of young bulls. His Figures are also very promising looking, he has a calvin ease of +4.1, a  terminal Index of +26, and a Self Replacing Index of +32. He is a perfect bull for the suckler herd.
