Dodi Et Dodi Et Dodi Et Farren Farren Del Et

Stranagone Dodi Et was an exceptional home bred bull. He was a bull that was full of breeding from all directions and due to his extremely low birth weight and size and his very large daily live weight gains he was selected to be retain for further breeding on the farm. He sadly was lost in his second year of use but his progeny can still be seen on the farm today. Some of his exceptional offspring was selected to be shown at local commercial cattle shows and most recently was well represented at the Allams Christmas Show and Sale Belfast.

Her sire Prime Roberto is a bull well known for his ease of calving and is also very well bred, he has been a very popular bull through the years in the south of Ireland.

Her dam, Ballyshannon Valerie was a great cow, her sire was Doonally Olmeto and she also had Jupiter on her mother’s side. A very long and powerful cow herself she was selected to be flushed.

Other progeny from Valerie included Stranagone Delta Et, Del Et and Farren Et. Delta Et was shown successfully at Dungannon show and sale receiving a red ticket and sold very well on the day. Del Et has also been retained and is proving to be a very good mother.

Stranagone Farren Et had a very succesfull day out at Carlisle Charolais show and sale on May 2012. After he won he’s class he went on to become the days champion senior bull and also picked up the overall reserve champion.
